Congratulations to the beautiful and talented “Fences” star Viola Davis who won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress on Sunday evening. Ms. Davis the 23rd person in history to win the “triple crown” of acting – an Oscar, an Emmy and a Tony. She is the first black woman in history to do so!
Notably, Whoopi Goldberg also completed a triple crown, but her Tony award came for producing the Broadway musical “Thoroughly Modern Millie, not acting in it.
