Leadership Academy
A 5-week program designed to inspire girls to create, lead, thrive and succeed. We focus on the whole girl mind, body, wellness, healthy relationships and critical thinking skills. Girls can connect with inspiring professional women and mentors, gaining valuable insights and learning opportunities from their experiences. Girls additionally receive guidance in crafting resumes, developing interview techniques, professional communication at work, understanding financial concepts, navigating the college application process, and exploring scholarship opportunities.
PowerGirls Corporate
We offer our PowerGirls a life-changing mentorship program tailored to the careers they are interested in and want to pursue. Our program opens doors to opportunities, expand networks, and provides guidance in career and personal development. Our mentorship program is a gamechanger!
Community Service
Our collaborations with community programs to feed the unhoused, provide children with toys, and provide teen hospital patients with love and hope baskets have left an indelible impact on the community. Annually the POYT dance team performs a Holiday recital at Henry J. Carter Specialty Hospital and Medical Center in Harlem.

We work diligently to bridge the gap for girls of color in S.T.E.A.M. We partner with Teach for America to envision the future through the lens of science and technology. Our PowerGirls are introduced to careers for the 21st century and beyond.
Music Program
Guitar for Hope offers PowerGirls a dynamic music program with access to guitars and music lessons.
PowerGirls Summer Camp
Please Change to PowerGirls Summer Camp – POYT Summer Camp is designed to ignite confidence, courage and community in the next generation of fierce, focused young women. Girls develop skills in financial literacy, public speaking, leadership, arts, dance, martial arts, career development and entrepreneurship.
Dance & Wellness Team
We utilize dance and movement to enrich girls’ lives and teach teamwork and wellness. Girls have the opportunity to discover themselves through dance – to express, explore and evolve. Our dance team performs at community events, including the annual Holiday recital at the Henry J. Carter Specialty Hospital, special events and parades.
Empowerment Experience
Power of You Teens host a yearly Harlem community event for our teens. We engaged in more self-esteem workshops and showcased the gifts and talents of our PowerGirls more than ever before.
