Significant opportunity gaps exist in S.T.E.A.M. – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. #POYT works diligently to reduce barriers to success for girls of color, especially in underserved communities.

Through our innovative workshops we change the trajectory of girls’ lives by helping them build self-esteem, self-confidence and self-empowerment so they can realize their greatness!

Our program utilizes dance and movement to enrich and enhance the lives of our girls. They are taught the fundamentals of dance and performance skills by professional dance teachers and choreographers.

The girls participate in dynamic workshops in leadership, S.T.E.A.M., entrepreneurship, financial literacy, creative writing, acting, dance, nutrition and wellness, fashion design, modeling and art.

We inspire our girls to make a difference in their community and the world – to think globally and act locally.  We partner with other organizations to make a significant impact in the Harlem community.

Working with the girls 1-on-1 helps us establish bonds of sisterhood that can last a lifetime. Mentoring young girls to be productive upstanding women in society and their community is our ultimate goal.
